Cricket: Zami: Concordia v/s Olympia (7-May-2011)

Concordia opened the season with an exciting high scoring match with a home game victory against Olympia. The major highlight was an unbeaten 141 by Manoj Sachdev out of a total of 217 in 35 overs. In response, Olympia scored 204 before being all out thus coming not far behind. There were two Concordia team members who had come to support the the team who got a bonus of playing in the game as part of Olympia as they were two men short. In the good spirit of the game, Nitin safeguarded his wicket at #8 scoring a decent 20 runs. Messers Seegar and Teakle from Olympia put up a decent fight scoring 59 and 45 respectively while Sreenath from Concordia grabbed 4 wickets with his swing.
